'Griekse crisis kan uitzaaien naar eurozone'

FRANKFURT (AFN) - De schuldencrisis in Griekenland kan uitzaaien naar de kernlanden van de eurozone en de opkomende economieën in Oost-Europa. Daarvoor waarschuwde het Internationaal Monetair Fonds (IMF) donderdag.

,,Uitzaaiing naar het kerngebied van de eurozone en daarna naar het opkomende Europa blijft een risico'', aldus het IMF. Het fonds gaf aan klaar te staan met extra hulp als Griekenland daar om vraagt. Athene heeft al een noodpakket ontvangen van 110 miljard euro van het IMF en de EU, maar er gaan geruchten dat daar nog 60 miljard euro aan extra steun bovenop moet komen.
Volgens het IMF heeft het land nog voldoende mogelijkheden om extra geld op te halen door privatiseringen. Griekenland heeft al aangekondigd 50 miljard euro te willen ophalen door staatsbedrijven te privatiseren. Volgens het IMF is dat nog geen 20 procent van alle bezittingen die de Grieken kunnen verkopen.
IMF-topeconoom Antonio Borges gaf aan dat hij niet verwacht dat Griekenland zijn staatsschuld van 327 miljard euro zal moeten herstructureren. Volgens Borges kan het land zijn schulden gewoon terugbetalen door nog sterker te bezuinigen enstaatsbezittingen te verkopen.

wij zijn verschillende keren in griekenland geweest, zoals rhodos, kreta, corfu, chalkidiki, sumi,griekenland is prachtig met ook mooie witte stranden maar ook veel met kiezel zandstrand,dit moet je zelf even uitzoeken p internet.de bevolking is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij.willen ook nog naar kefalonia en lefkas met ook mooie witte stranden.zakinthos is ook mooi met zijn schilpadden.alom gaan graag naar griekenland.gr will

Griekenland is al 25 jaar onze favoriete bestemming. Meestal proberen we in het voorjaar én in het najaar een eiland te bezoeken. We hebben er al heel wat gezien. Ons terugkeereiland is Chios. Juni 2011 wordt de 15e keer. We houden van rust maar bovenal van een prachtige natuur. Behalve Chios heb ik zeker nog meer aanraders, zoals: Kefalonia, Ithaka, Karpathos, Kythira, Lefkas, Alonissos, Skopelos, Patmos, Nysirros, Tinos en Samos. De meer toeristische eilanden zoals Rhodos, Kreta, Zakynthos, Kos, Corfu, Skiathos, Santorini en Lesbos zijn ook leuk, maar voor ons minder in trek omdat wij meer houden van de rustige eilanden. De meeste eilanden hebben gelijkenissen, maar toch is ieder Grieks eiland uniek. Vooral bijzonder is dat de Grieken (bijna) overal ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam zijn. Als je dan ook nog houdt van de heerlijke Griekse keuken, dan kan een vakantie niet meer stuk.
